Stay at Home and Earn Money

Young professionals, these days, are busy doing their jobs. Some of them don't even have the time to enjoy life because they are preoccupied with their work. Living in a competitive society creates a greater pressure to achieve one's goals. Many of these professionals work so hard because they are all competing for one prize: to be on top of the other. They work 6 days a week and almost 10 hrs a day to earn not only money but additional merits from their employers.

Even with this kind of scenario in our environment, there are still others who do not feel the pressure in terms of job competition. These are the people who can see opportunities in disaster. They don't take having a job seriously. The fact of the matter is, they are correct. Why compete in the rat race when you can find a job with little serious competition but can help you generate a good income. Some of these people create their own home business opportunity.

Doing a home-based business, they don't usually go to their respective offices like other professionals do. All they have to do is to sit in a comfortable chair, drink their best coffee, and do business at home. They don't want to experience the hassle of traveling to the office, and do some problem solving and some paper work, but get a lower income. In doing a home based business, they can have control of their own time. No one tells them what to do. They just do their thing and earn a much larger income compared to the others.

In this kind of work, they have a free hand to do what they think is right for their business. They are the one planning for their success. They make their own strategies, create their plans, and project their goals. If we will compare the work in home business with employment, we can say that running a business requires a lot of work, but isn't it nice to call it your own? They have the right to do everything that they can because this is their business.

The Power of Positive Thinking

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into the mind thoughts, words and images that are conductive to growth, expansion and success. It is a mental attitude that expects good and favorable results. A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. Whatever the mind expects, it finds.
Not everyone accepts or believes in positive thinking. Some consider the subject as just nonsense, and others scoff at people who believe and accept it. Among the people who accept it, not many know how to use it effectively to get results. Yet, it seems that many are becoming attracted to this subject, as evidenced by the many books, lectures and courses about it. This is a subject that is gaining popularity.
It is quite common to hear people say: "Think positive!", to someone who feels down and worried. Most people do not take these words seriously, as they do not know what it really means, or do not consider it as useful and effective. How many people do you know that ever stop to think what the power of positive thinking means?
The following story illustrates how this power works. Allan applied for a new job, but as his self-esteem was low, and he considered himself as a failure and unworthy of success, he was sure that he was not going to get the job. He had a negative attitude towards himself, and believed that the other applicants were better and more qualified than him. Allan manifested this attitude because he was not admitted to most of the jobs he applied to, and consequently had negative past experience.
His mind was filled with negative thoughts and fears concerning the job for the whole week before the job interview. He was sure he would be rejected. On the day of the interview he got up late, and to his horror he discovered that the shirt he had planned to wear was dirty, and the other one needed ironing. As it was already too late, he went out with a wrinkled shirt.
During the interview he was tense, displayed a negative attitude, worried about his shirt, and felt hungry because he did not have enough time to eat breakfast. All this distracted his mind and made it difficult for him to focus on the interview. His overall behavior made a bad impression, and consequently he materialized his fear and did not get the job.
Jim applied for the same job too, but approached the matter in a different way. He was sure that he was going to get the job. During the week preceding the interview he often visualized himself making a good impression and getting the job.
In the evening before the interview he prepared the clothes he was going to wear, and went to sleep a little earlier. On day of the interview he woke up earlier than usual, and had ample time to eat breakfast, and then to arrive to the interview before the scheduled time.
He got the job because he made a good impression. Of course he had also the proper qualifications for the job, but so had Allan.
What do we learn from these two stories? Is there any magic employed here? No, it is all natural. When the attitude is positive we entertain pleasant feelings and constructive images, and see in our mind's eye what we really want to happen. This brings brightness to the eyes, more energy and happiness. The whole being broadcasts good will, happiness and success. Even the health is affected in a beneficial way. We walk tall and the voice is more powerful. Our body language shows the way you feel inside.
Positive and negative thinking are both contagious. All of us affect, in one way or another, the people we meet. This happens instinctively and on a subconscious level, through thoughts and feelings transference and through body language. People sense our aura and are affected by our thoughts. Is it any wonder that we want to be around positive persons and shun negative ones? People are more disposed to help us if we are positive. They dislike and avoid anyone broadcasting negativity.
Negative thoughts, words and attitude bring up negative and unhappy moods and actions. When the mind is negative, poisons are released into the blood, which cause more unhappiness and negativity. This is the way to failure, frustration and disappointment.

NO PROBLEM – "THINK SOLUTION"

I recently received a letter from a reader who was totally frustrated and disappointed. "I didn't win", she wrote, "no matter how you want to look at it." Basically, she had made a deal for a home loan rate with a mortgage broker who didn't follow through and complete the paperwork. At closing, she was hit with a higher rate. The agent was on vacation and his boss wouldn't relent, "No matter how much I tried to win without intimidation."
Here is the principle she, and each of us, must always keep in mind:
There are some people with whom WWI will not work, at least "right now". The boss, in this case, is a classic example of one who lives in the problem instead of the solution; he doesn't care, and he is a person who decided in advance (In other words, "My mind's made up; don't confuse me with the facts.") Making things right for the customer was simply not on his agenda. He isn't that way. Why not? As Jim Rohn would say, "I don't know...he just isn't." :-)
Now, the solution: Find someone who is. It might be *his* boss, or the corporation for which he works. Or there might be a legal recourse, as a verbal promise was made. Perhaps his local association's ethics board would have something to say. In other words, "Find the person who can make a difference."
Key point: as you're doing so, make sure to handle everyone in a WWI-type manner. Be extremely nice, send lots of thank you notes, acknowledgments, etc. to everyone with whom you converse. Be the "good guy" and get all these other people working for you in order to make things right.
When it comes to WWI, sometimes the front door is not the one you're going to go through. Fortunately, most homes have lots of other doors (and windows, as well).
Uh, by the way, if you are a burglar and live in my neighborhood, please disregard that last paragraph. :-)
